I'm interested in experimenting with concrete projects. Do you know of any good do-it-yourself magazines I could buy. Thank you

What type of concrete do you want to experiment with ?

Hi Rick: My husband and I are looking into expanding a concrete business that we already have. We are presently trying out the Quikrete Walk Way system but we are always looking for new things to possibly widen out horizons. So anything with small projects ,ie: birdbathes, fountains, etc.
Mostly garden projects are what we are looking for.

Thank you very much for your response, any help you can give would be appreciated.

I do'nt know of any magazines out there that really cover what you are looking for very well. Think of concrete like this, when you were a little girl and you just got an new box of play doe and new box of crayons. Now that you are grown up the play doe is the concrete and the crayons are all the coloring products available for concrete (Mud pies and crayons for big girls)I have taken left over concrete and hand shaped them to look like giant feet for my garden (even colored the toe nails red for fun)I like to make and color stepping stones. I think of the stains and colors now available for concrete as my new box of crayons and the concrete is my coloring book.

Release your imagination, playing with concrete can be really fun.

I have a book that is great for beginner concreters. It's called Creating with Concrete by Sherri Warner Hunter. It's a big help and it has recipes, mold making, all kinds of ideas.

For things to mold look up vendor sites. The people that make molds are the best promoters of them.

quick google on "concrete molds" turns up.

try a search or two!
